We spent the night at anchor at Carolina Beach. This place must hop in the summer. Many night spots. A convenient place to anchor but no handy place to leave dingy.
The trip to Carolina Beach was timed for the very limited Figure Eight Island bridge openings because they were sandblasting and painting.

Hey Guy i have really enjoyed your blog of your trip thanks for including me in your e mails. it seems like a trip of a lifetime. i am so glad you were able to do this. your grandkids will one day be really proud of you for the adventure.
when you finish then what?
are you guys still thinking of building in NC? we haven't been down for awhile. let us know next time you will be in Belhaven and we maybe able to join you.
